Especially all of the hard to get/expensive pieces: 091 coil (make sure it's type 1), 997 heads (does there date match the engine?), carb tags/dates, figure 8 coil, 57 pass only generator brackets for DQ, deep groove pulley set, does the driver side valve cover have a bracket to hold the batwing pod, is batwing original etc. To sell a car with a high performance engine you'll want to document a lot of info.

  • We are looking at selling it and just trying to figure out a possible number for the car I was thinking about $80K does look about right or am I way off? It has a ton of documentation and awards and lots of parts, another date-coded engine, power guide, and a bunch of NOS parts in boxes. The car overall is really clean and we did a complete frame off restoration in the late 80's it won in Pebble Beach Concourse back in the day and many other shows on the West Coast. Prices are all over the board when looking online to what some are selling at some of the auctions these days. Need some help guys who might be able to help looking at getting an idea of what a car might be worth.
